Feng Shui Expose and Bazi
Feng Shui expose has started posting about bazi. They are here:

Althought this was in facebook.
They did very interesting work with Flying Star some time ago in youtube, it was awesome material, just never got practically useful enough for apartment Feng Shui for us, to mention it before. But it was definitily great material. Now moving to bazi, there were some ideas there that I wanted to post my own view on. As facebook doesn't allow meaningful conversations, lately, will do it here. : )
I like the idea that DM can be seen as what the personality/essence of the person is interacting from. Like Jia carring, in some cases, the idea of 'rightousness', basically thinking they 'know' what is right.
There are many other ideas with it of course, but lets view this.
Then Yin comes in the chart, physical view to Jia. More material form, so can represent the physical body, whatever happens with Yin may relate to the physical body of the person now. Clash and it may move, be unease etc.
Clash because... New ideas that step on 'what is right' attempting to change the world clash with the established, old ideas(Metal in Yang form in this case) and they will be controled when they show up if there is metal nearby.
Then Yin represen that, in the sense that if we know what is right we will go to some lengths to 'manifest' it. Basically, making it ease to get too far in that, as it drivers the person.
So I think DM can show the person themselves and how they interact with their surrounding.
Way of reading that doesn't use DM for anything then just another layer of interactions on the other elements, may mean the person reading just isn't interesting in the person by themselves much. So it can be seen like lets say we meet a person for the first time. Comparing to reading their chart.
Focusing on DM would be like asking them what they like, don't like or whay they identify with.
Focusing on the Month would be like asking about their family, what they do for a living etc.
Focusing on the Year with where they are from.
Any style focusing on Month branch only, focusing on nearby beliefs, traditions and people and not that much on the person by themselves. All is ok, of course, depends what we want to know or find out, as usual.
