 Initiations and the Keeper of the Threshold

The words here may mislead a little. We will call this Initiations, as some others do, others have also called them Illuminations, Levels of Consciousness and other things.

If one views that Earth , similar to a school, its offering specific experiences and understanding for the Souls that are born here. We can say that the main division of grades  that are easy to see are 3.
Similar to a school, the students in first, second and third grade learn entirely different material. They do come to the same building. They interact with the same people, teachers and other students, but what they are actually learning is vastly different.

The idea here is that Initiations work in a very similar way for the overall Earth experience. In understanding physical existence there can be said are 12 major "grades" or points of view, one can view it from.
3 of them have been offered on Earth for a very long time. With 3 more, still offered here, but not so easy to see.
Also sometimes some view that there are steps before first initiation that we won't look much at. 

The initiations show up in variety of ways and carry very different approach to our choices. And there are many ways to notice them, one I enjoy from Brian and Vywamus was based on how one views the concept of "God'. Here this is presented to show the "probationary" initiations, the first preparation steps until one actually takes first initiation.

Preprobationary Level - No God. Just us.
Probationary Level - There is God, but its something sitting somewhere looking down and judging. Far.
First Initiation - God becomes emotion, dance, art, it becomes alive part of us.
Second Initiation - God becomes something that once experienced is searched for. May be there, may not be, there is the idea of remembering the connection of the previous initiation, but like a spark in a dark room, its not something sustainable and this is the mental search to find it again. Humanity, most of the west, anyway, have been on second initiation for quite a while.
Third Initiation - God is found again, its found within. So God is within us at that point.
The other initiations are out of our scope for now. These 3 are easy to see on Earth and contain the majority of written texts here, about this.

So as it may become obvious the transition of Second to Third initiation is the most important aspect of all this, as that is what humanity was struggling with. 
And the Keeper of the Threshold is the important aspect here.

The Second Initiation one searches and comes with a split. To explain that we have to go into that split. 
So lets say we have an author writing a  fictional book. There are good guys, there are bad guys, there are interactions, worlds etc. All this is his universe, in most cases. In some it may be different, especially in material that is non fictional, but for most out there that would be them.
And yet if we  ask them, they would say the good guys they can relate to, but the bad guys are not part of them, they are something they viewed from outside, they are far away and not what they identify with.

The thing is, its all them. But there is the perception of "threshold" one doesn't crosses. Good guys are near, all is fine, bad guys are after the threshold, they can't harm the good ones.
And yet, this is all one, this is their Universe, good and bad ones together. Bad aspects need to be understood, refined and never fully ignored. Good ones need to merge.

Keeper of the threshold is the Guardian of the split. The bad stuff is pushed out of  what one sees, yet still in their universe, and to not access it they have set the Keeper.

Second initiation ends when one understands that, faces the Keeper of the Threshold and enters their presumably "Dark" part. Its "dark' because it isn't understood and is pushed out of the light, however. Nothing bad by itself, although as it is forgotten may need long working to to clear.

SO lets view an example. One walks in a city of old. They see someone that is supposedly doing something bad, yet isn't harming anyone. Its just what they have done, after tons of rationalizing someone in charge found threatening to the community for some irrelevant reason. While in practice is beyond their own threshold so they view as "scary".

Preprobationary Levels and 1st initiation will just move away scared. This isn't the God they connected with, they see in their art and expression, this is not understood, neither site of it, but the community is closer with its judgment , possibly.

Second Level - one searches here, so it really depends how far they have arrived. For some they will be with the community, for some they will be with the people that have done , whatever have been done. Depending on logic.
Third Initiation - here comes the good old "the one without sins to trow the first stone". There is understanding whatever problem there is with what have been done, this is still in the same community only beyond the threshold of the group. 

So for any second level initiate out there, their job is to go through the threshold, at this step of the path. They aren't here for much more, at this point.

As these are possibly very heavy topics, lets stop here. Surface view, but could be important first step if deeply understood.
